Recently several laser, light and radiofrequency devices were FDA approved for Skin and Tissue Tightening. These devices are used on facial skin to treat jowls and eyelid skin laxity. They can be used to treat skin laxity on neck, abdomen, buttocks and other body areas. One of the devises that is used at the Skin & Laser Surgery Center of New England is LuxIR machine that uses an infra red laser to heat the tissue that results in tightening of the treated skin. Dr. Khatri helped to develop this state of the art technology.
